Google 7 Pack

Mulkern Internet now offers an additional service for Small Businesses who want their company well represented on the Internet for Local Search customers.

One of the easiest ways to get on the First Page of Google is by getting into the “Google 7 Pack”, formally a 10 pack, aka 10 box.  It is part of the Google Local Business Service that will actually list up to 7 local businesses in a Google Maps Box.  The 7 businesses are listed by Google in order of importance (in Google’s eyes). Each business usually has their phone number and website link with a placeholder on the Google Map showing the location.  The “Google 7 Pack” is located near the top of the first page of the search engine results, making in a very coveted position.  Here is an example using “Houston lawyer“.  Not all businesses  have a “Google 7 Pack” and sometimes there may be as little as one business listed.  Also if someone inputs a business and a ZIP code, 7 Pack will appear.  Here is an example of “Lawyer 77056”
